 Troops kill bandits in Katsina

Authorities in Katsina state say an airstrike killed over 100 bandits early Thursday morning in Shawu village of Faskari local government area.

Sources said the incident occurred after the bandits planned to attack security forces in the area.

Nasiru Ma’azu, the Katsina state commissioner for security and interior, confirmed the incident to the BBC.
