Trump makes four new appointments

US President-elect Donald Trump has continued his top administration appointments.

On Friday, Mr Trump announced the nomination of Republican Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer as secretary of labor.

Former House Speaker Dave Weldon was named head of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Dr. Marty Makary was named commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration.

Mr Trump also nominated former American football player Scott Turner as secretary of housing, urban planning and rural development.
